3. BUSINESS-TO-BUSINESS SALES PROSPECTING
ZonnaGPS may contact by email companies that, given their activity, may need fleet management. We use business contact details published by the companies themselves, such as on their website or in business directories. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in making our services known to other businesses (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Recital 47).
Each email includes a link to stop receiving further messages, and you can also object by writing to info@zonnagps.com. Once you have objected, we keep only the data strictly necessary to make sure we do not write to you again.
4. RECIPIENTS AND PROCESSORS
We do not sell or disclose your data to third parties for their own purposes. We only share it with public authorities when required by law. To provide our services we work with the following providers, which process the data on behalf of ZonnaGPS under a data processing agreement:
- IONOS SE (Germany): hosting of the website and its data.
- Resend (United States): sending the website’s emails, such as the notification of your request or the newsletter confirmation.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): form protection (Turnstile).
Only if you accept the relevant cookies are Google, Meta, Intuit Mailchimp, Overloop and Elfsight also involved, as explained in the Cookie policy. If you contact us by WhatsApp, Meta processes that communication under its own terms.
5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some providers are based in the United States or may process data there. In those cases, the transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR: the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the company has signed up to it, or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. HOW LONG WE KEEP THE DATA
- Information requests and quotes: for as long as necessary to deal with them and follow them up commercially. If you become a customer, they are then governed by the contract.
- Customer and billing data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and, afterwards, for the statutory periods (for example, six years for commercial and accounting records).
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Sales prospecting: for as long as the data remains useful for that purpose or until you object.
- Our own browsing analytics: 13 months; after that they are deleted automatically.
When the data is no longer needed, it is blocked for the periods during which legal liability may arise and then deleted.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, and withdraw any consent you have given us, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal. Write to us at info@zonnagps.com or by post to the address in section 1, stating which right you wish to exercise. If we cannot clearly identify you, we will ask you to prove your identity.
If you believe we have not processed your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) (www.aepd.es).
8. SECURITY
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), access restricted to authorised staff, protection against automated submissions and backups.
